Travessa do Acciaioli, Saturday morning
The “Feira da Lagartixa” takes place every Saturday morning at the “Travessa do Acciaioli, right by the Madeira Storey Centre, and its main purposes are to revitalize Funchal´s Old Town as well as to raise funds for the CRIAMAR association (Social solidarity association that assists in the support and development of children and young adults.)
At the “Feira da Lagartixa” there are several tables where many inexpensive small treasures and souvenirs are available for you to purchase that may cost you as little as 5 Euros or as much as over 20 Euros.

Organized every Saturday from 8:00 am till 6:00 pm in Funchal in RUA das PRETAS or the Jardim Municipal, the Madeira Flea Market displays a vast array of items ranging from local arts & crafts to Portuguese antiques and collectibles. Maybe not the most impressive flea market that exists, but still worth paying it a visit if you have some spare time in Funchal; who knows, you might end up finding one hidden gem there!
