Lorgan’s is one of the most renowned stores for vintage furniture and decor in Singapore. It has been around for a while now and has gathered a pretty good reputation among vintage enthusiasts, for pre-loved retro furniture as well as Scandinavian modern-classic design reproductions. And there is no wonder why they are a one-stop resource for some of the most exciting designer’s furniture found internationally.
The store generally provides an easy access to well-designed vintage furniture (they have a “design within reach” philosophy), which traditionally tend to only be found in high-end furniture showrooms. A must do stop when looking for vintage furniture in Singapore!

ReStore Living
A wee little shop which is specialized in vintage furniture that has been lovingly restored. Shall a chair need a good polish, a wood restoration, or re-upholstery, the owners of the shop do whatever it takes to bring back the former glory of a piece of old furniture. Since they only take in quality pieces for restoration (those made of good wood), the results are usually amazing.
Whether you have a vintage theme for your home or just want to inject a bit of character to a room with a few vintage accents, you may just find what you’re looking for at ReStore. Last (but not least!), ReStore Living welcomes its visitors with the warm smell of freshly brewed coffee and homemade waffles! And for coffee enthusiasts, there’s nothing better than sipping a good “cup of joe” while browsing through vintage furniture and home-wares.

Second Charm
Not strictly a vintage furniture store per se (well at least compared to other vintage furniture stores I’ve seen in Singapore, and considering the fact that they also sell replicas of old furniture), Second Charm has nonetheless a second charm and some beautiful pieces in store. The shop showcases a range of mostly re-issued & custom made industrial inspired furniture for homes, offices and retail outlets, and owns as well a pretty neat collection of pre-loved and restored pieces. They also provide some restoration and upholstery work.
“Industrial inspired furniture seems to be the rage nowadays. It is as if there is a romantic movement towards the industrial age of the past, now that we are moving to a different level of technological and social development.”
Second Charm offers a mix of various styles: Retro, Scandinavian, Midcentury & Industrial furniture, Inspired Art Deco. So all in all, there is something for everyone and every taste. And going through their Facebook page and website is case of “I like that”, “I want that”, “I could totally picture that here/there”, “he/she’d love that one”, “wow, I had no idea that existed”… Last but not least: most items can be customized upon request to fit a particular space, and prices are very reasonable.

Mad About Vintage
A relative new-comer on the vintage furniture scene of Singapore, Mad About Vintage has nonetheless quickly managed to impose itself as a must in Singapore (as demonstrated by its online stock of furniture mostly labeled as “sold out”).
The shop owner is an intrepid vintage seeker, who started sourcing pieces himself and loved it so much, that he quit his corporate job to fulfill his dream & passion. One particularly interesting aspect of his website is that if you see something you like, you can reserve it online before heading down later to the shop to have a closer look and decide whether you want to purchase it or not. This might not sound like much, but with most of these treasure troves being out in the sticks, what most of us don’t want is to add pain to injuries by driving all the way to the other side of the city, only to realize that the item we wanted is gone.

Art from Junk
Brand new on the local vintage & pre-loved scene, Art from Junk is a small home-based studio which creates hand painted furniture with colorful, retro and vintage inspired designs. This little Singapore-based studio re-purposes recycled and secondhand furniture to use as unique canvases for the creation of colourful artwork, thereby giving them a new brighter lease of life. Each piece of vintage furniture is totally one-of-a-kind, and draws inspiration from retro patterns and old-school graphic design, which have their origin in the vibrant traditions of Singapore and South-east Asia.
