Vinted offers a personal shopping experience, directly from the comfort of your couch. With over 11 million members, you’ll surely find in the Vinted community some people with similar styles with whom you can exchange ideas, swap or trade pre-used quality items.
In the Forum section users can ask questions about how to start their own shop if they’re a new ‘Vintie’ or share any style queries. Users can list their items for free, with a few photos, a short description and a set price, or they can find and purchase affordable branded clothes in just a few minutes.
Once a transaction is completed, vendors will pay a 19% commission fee on the overall cost of their purchase. But shipping costs are paid by the buyer upon checking out. Last but not least, Vinted allows shoppers to get a refund on any item they purchased, if they’re not completely happy with it.
With the cool mission of ‘making second-hand the first choice’, Vinted is a really useful app and free to download on both iOS and Android systems.

Modezine (Osom until recently) is a great mobile marketplace for buying and selling pre-owned clothes within minutes. It’s free to download and use, with a simple and elegant interface in warm colours, showing large photos of the listed items.
Modezine has easy to navigate functions with intuitive icons for selling, messaging and scrolling through the newsfeed. If you’re after a certain kind of item or just ‘window-shopping’ from your phone, you can search and sort items by size, brand, price, colours, location and user’s feedback.
If you’re selling an item you can just snap a few photos, write a short description and set a price. Instagram enthusiasts will be happy to know that Modezine’s great filters can be used to enhance photos and add a creative touch to each listing.
